Catholic Charities Counseling and Adoption Services (CCCAS) is thrilled to share a heartwarming act of generosity from Kevin Devine, representing the Knights of Columbus – St. Boniface. Mr. Devine recently delivered four large boxes of children’s winter coats, totaling 48 coats, to benefit families served by our Refugee Resettlement Services.
This incredible donation could not have come at a better time. With Erie blanketed in snow and temperatures continuing to drop, these coats are more than just garments—they are lifelines of warmth and protection for refugee families adjusting to life in a new and often challenging climate.
Many of the families served by CCCAS arrive in Erie with little more than the clothes on their backs. Acts of kindness like this ensure that children in our community can stay warm and healthy as they experience their first winters here.
At CCCAS, our mission to support vulnerable populations is made possible through partnerships and acts of kindness like this. We extend our deepest gratitude to Kevin Devine and the Knights of Columbus – St. Boniface for their generosity, compassion, and commitment to making a difference.
