At Catholic Charities Counseling and Adoption Services (CCCAS), we are thrilled to spotlight one of our outstanding counselors, Cielo Prischak, who is making incredible strides in her professional journey. Cielo’s dedication, compassion, and drive to grow in the field of counseling have been an inspiration to our team and the clients she serves.
Cielo is currently working diligently toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a milestone that reflects her unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care. She has already completed all of her prerequisites and is actively pursuing her Associate License as part of her LPC credentials. This process involves rigorous training, and Cielo’s achievements thus far are nothing short of remarkable.
A major accomplishment in her journey includes earning her master’s degree in Applied Clinical Psychology in 2019. The degree consisted of 48 credits, and to meet the state board licensure requirement of 60 credits, Cielo went on to complete additional advanced coursework. These extra classes have further enhanced her knowledge and expertise, enabling her to foster meaningful connections with clients and address their unique challenges with empathy and insight.
Currently, Cielo is focused on accumulating the required 3,000 supervised hours to obtain her LPC license. This hands-on experience is a testament to her perseverance and dedication to excelling in her profession. Through her work, she continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and families in need of counseling and support.
